Ever wished that you'd timed things a little better so that your
income was on par with that of Bill Gates? Perhaps you ponder
how life would have been different had you the ability to see
the big picture that Henry Ford saw ' the NEED for automobiles,
even when there were obstacles such as no roads and no gas
stations to overcome in order to achieve this dream.
Had you this same ability to 'think big' life could be very
different right now.
Unfortunately the majority of us missed the opportun...

With the recent rise in energy costs many people have been
looking to alternative sources of energy. One of the greatest
energy sources (our sun) is readily available for the taking. We
just need to be able to harness it's power. For those
interested, below is a brief history of how solar power came to
be.
The history of photovoltaic energy (aka. solar cells) started
way back in 1876. William Grylls Adams along with a student of
his, Richard Day, discovered that when selenium was exposed to

Windmills are being planned for all over the senic vistas of New York. There are major problems with windpower that are not being addressed. Windmills kill birds. They are eyesores, they make noise pollution, they can change the weather patterns for an area, they can flicker at times durring the day with the shadows that they cast, and they can rob adjacent property owners of the enjoyment of thier property.
The magnitude of their investment and their freedom from malice furnish no reason why...

Terrorists lurk around every corner. Climate change will soon

And everybody is planning a war.

France want to just unleash. North Korea ... need I say more?

Green living entails using green technologies to produce green energy. Green technologies imply harnessing the eco-friendly natural resources like solar and wind power to produce energy in order conserve the earth and its environment. Solar energy is one of the major sources of renewable energy. It involves using the power of Sun to generate energy. Solar energy is an ideal replacement for perishable energy resources like coal and petroleum that are being used for decades. The need for replacing...

Anyone looking to live off the grid and start building solar panels is making one of the best decision nowadays is such tough economical times. The cost of buying a solar panel is through the roof therefore building one all by yourself is nearly ten times cheaper. My house for example uses close to 400 watts on daily basis so if I were to go and purchase enough solar panels to cover up all the electricity my house needs I would have spent anywhere between six thousand to ten thousand dollars or ...

Obviously Ms. Mannes preferred the status quo - health, sanity,

more intriguing.

There are at least seven global or widespread disasters that
seem likely to occur at sometime in the future. A large asteroid
hitting the earth is one of those seven. It is generally
accepted by scientists that asteroids have struck the earth in
the past causing widespread damage. It is believed that
asteroids will continue to collide with the earth every now and
then. Maybe every sixty million years a big one comes along that
is large enough to have a global effect on survival of earth's
living...

In these days of climate change, the UK summer is believe or
not, getting warmer and sunnier. Whilst this gives us
opportunity to enjoy more time in the garden and sitting on the

means we need to take measures to protect against the sun's
harmful rays. This is where a patio
awning comes in.
Many properties have french windows

Earth's average temperature is increasing continuously to a
dangerous extent. Temperature has risen by 0.5 ± 0.2C. Glaciers
are melting across the globe and the gravity of the situation
can be harnessed from the fact that some glaciers have even
disappeared from some parts of the world. In Polar Regions ice
is melting at an alarming speed. Such melting of ice caps is in
turn affecting the sea level. This may give a push to natural
disasters like floods, droughts, hurricanes etc. Human
